League Schedule Maker

Fixed-partner doubles round robin

Teams of two keep the same partner all event and play every other team once. Type one pair per line.

When
Play on

Leave the start date empty for a round-by-round chart with no dates. With no weekday ticked, games fall on the start date's weekday. When a round has more games than courts, it carries on in the next time slot.

Pro: a live season page for your league

Publish the schedule at its own link where players check live scores and standings from their phones. Move a rained-out night and every game after it shifts, with nobody double-booked. Players get an email when their game changes. Built for organizers running a club ladder or a league season week after week.

This is an early project. We will only email you about the Pro version.

    When to use fixed partners

Fixed partners suit tournaments, leagues and ladders where you sign up as a team. Rotating partners suit social nights where people come alone. Switch Format to "Rotating-partner doubles" to compare.

    How it works

Each pair is treated as one team in a round robin. 6 pairs play 5 rounds of 3 games. 5 or 7 pairs get one bye each.

    Questions

How many games does each team play?

One fewer than the number of teams. 6 teams play 5 games each.

Can I run a league with this over several weeks?

Yes. Set rounds per day to 1, pick your weekday, and each round falls on the next week.

What does the share link contain?

Everything on the schedule: the event name, names of teams or players, dates, times and every round. It sits in the part of the link after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server, so we never see it. Anyone with the link sees the same schedule, even if they have their own saved settings.
